Terms and Conditions – Waste Removal Services
Welcome to Excess Waste Solutions! Before using our waste removal services, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our services, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory waste disposal experience. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Payment: We accept payments through PayPal and all UK debit and credit cards. Payment for services is due before or on the scheduled collection date, as agreed upon during the booking process.
2. Accepted Waste Types: a) General Waste – £110: Non-hazardous waste only. Prohibited items include asbestos, hazardous materials, plasterboard, electrical, or liquid waste. b) Garden Waste – £50: Limited to green waste; no other waste, including soil, is allowed. c) Wood – £75: Strictly for wood waste only; no other materials should be included. d) Cardboard (clean/dry) – £30: Exclusively clean and dry cardboard; no other waste allowed. e) Inert Waste – £90: Limited to mixed concrete, rubble, and soil spoils; no other waste accepted. f) Clean Rubble/Hardcore – £70: For clean rubble or hardcore materials only; no other waste allowed. g) Metal – £15: Only metal items accepted; no other waste permitted. h) Polystyrene – £30: For polystyrene waste only; no other materials allowed. i) Hard Plastics – £30: Limited to hard plastics, such as garden toys, and similar items. j) Plasterboard – £100: For plasterboard waste only; no other materials allowed.
3. Purchase of Skip Bags: Customers are responsible for purchasing the skip bags needed for waste disposal. These bags are available for sale on our website and will be delivered within 48 hours of purchase.
4. Prohibited Waste: It is essential to ensure that each skip bag or general waste bin is filled with the specific waste type it is intended for. Mixing different waste types in a single bag or bin is not permitted unless declared to Excess Waste Solutions beforehand.
5. Contaminated Waste: If any of the prohibited waste types (asbestos, hazardous, plasterboard, electrical, or liquid waste) are found in the skip bags or general waste bins during collection, we reserve the right to leave the waste at the property or, if found after collection, charge a minimum of £150 for disposal.
6. Liability and Responsibility: a) Excess Waste Solutions will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing waste removal services. However, we shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or accidents arising from customer negligence or failure to comply with our instructions. b) Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of waste descriptions and proper preparation of waste for collection. Any issues arising from inaccurate waste descriptions or improper preparation will not be the responsibility of Excess Waste Solutions.
7. Service Limitations: a) The waste removal services are limited to the specified waste types for each service. Any waste types not explicitly mentioned may not be accepted for disposal. b) The services are available within the designated service areas. Customers outside these areas may need to contact us for availability and additional charges.
8. Privacy and Data Protection: a) Excess Waste Solutions will handle customer information in accordance with data protection laws. Personal data will be securely stored and used only for the purpose of providing waste removal services. b) Customer data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent.
9. Compliance with Regulations: All waste removal services will be conducted in accordance with relevant environmental and waste disposal regulations. Customers are responsible for complying with any additional local regulations applicable to their waste disposal.
10. Cancellation Policy: a) Customers may cancel or reschedule waste removal services, subject to availability and provided that a minimum notice period of 2 days is given. b) Cancellations made within the minimum notice period may be subject to a cancellation fee.
11. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes or complaints, customers are encouraged to contact Excess Waste Solutions directly to seek resolution. We will work diligently to address and resolve any issues to the best of our abilities.
12. Termination of Services: a) Either party may terminate waste removal services by providing written notice to the other party. b) In case of termination by the customer, any prepaid amounts will be refunded, minus any applicable charges.
13. Changes to Terms and Conditions: Excess Waste Solutions reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Skip Bag 6 Week Collection: Excess Waste Solutions gives you 6 weeks from the time of purchase to fill the skip bag with the selected waste. If Skip bag has not been filled there will be a (12.) Termination of Services

Purchase of Wheelie Bin – Terms and Conditions
1. Purchase and Ownership: Customers have the option to purchase a wheelie bin for £30 for one pick-up service. Upon purchase, the wheelie bin becomes the property of the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safekeeping and proper use of the bin during the agreed-upon period.
2. Collection and Usage: The purchased wheelie bin must be collected within two weeks of purchase. Once acquired, customers can utilise the bin for their waste disposal needs during the agreed-upon service period.
3. Replacement and Damage: a) In the event of loss or damage to the wheelie bin during the agreed-upon service period, the customer is solely responsible for its replacement at their cost. b) Customers are expected to use the wheelie bin responsibly and avoid actions that may lead to damage or loss. Any unauthorised use or misuse of the bin may result in additional charges.
4. Prohibited Waste: The wheelie bin is intended for general waste only, and customers are required to adhere to the accepted waste types specified in the waste removal services. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, plasterboard, electrical, or liquid waste.
5. Compliance with Regulations: Customers are responsible for complying with relevant environmental and waste disposal regulations when using the wheelie bin. Excess Waste Solutions reserves the right to refuse service if waste contents do not conform to applicable regulations.
